I have done a clean install on my old iMac 2.8Ghz Core 2 Duo (3gb ram and 250gig free on the hard drive). After adding updates it now is at version 10.4.11. I have attempted to take it to 10.6 Snow leopard with an official Apple os x 10.6 snow leopard DVD but receive the message 'This disc requires that Max OS X 10.5 or later already be installed on your compute.' It should be able to leap from 10.4.11 to snow leopard - as I have done this previously. Suggestions of how to resolve this would be really helpful.
